We offer tools for programming machines, chips and transponders
On our website at ProfiKey, we offer tools for programming
machines, chips and transponders that support the high-precision electronic
devices, true mini-computers, of modern automobile keys, locks and ignition
systems.
In the 1990s, car manufacturers began to apply new
technologies in the construction of automobile keys and locks and to meet the
requirements of passive protection against vehicle theft.
Practically all cars that were manufactured after 1995
have been equipped with anti-theft systems.
At the moment of interaction, “false” key with immobilizer and other
road blocks are torn electrical circuits.
As a result, the engine is blocked by de-energizing the network
responsible for the operation of the starter and the engine. This means that even if the thief is able to
get into the car, starting the engine becomes almost impossible.
Nowadays, to make automobile keys you need not only
have access to special professional equipment, but you also need to have
knowledge in the fields of physics, radio engineering and microelectronics.
If the transponder, which is mounted in the key, is
incorrectly programmed, the engine will not start. Currently, there are several generations of
transponders and immobilizers.
Modern automobile keys come in a number of
styles. They can be made with and
without transponders, which is an immobilization chip. A remote controlled central locking and car
alarm system can be placed in the key housing.
Mechanical keys come in double-sided and four-sided milling. There are also chiopovat keys and key-cards
that can be used to open doors and start engines. Together, these provide a reliable protection
against burglary.
A car key with remote control is quite convenient, but
it is always advisable to have a duplicate key in case of loss or theft. It should be noted that remote control button
on the key cannot be programmed if the vehicle does not support this feature.
If your car suddenly no longer responds to your remote
control button on the key, but while the engine can be started, then the remote
needs resynchronization.
In case of loss or theft of keys, it is necessary to
re-flash the immobilizer—the process in which the key code is removed from the
vehicle immobilizer (which prevents the engine from being started with a lost
or stolen key).
There are many reasons why automobile key bodies
become unusable. If this is the case,
you don’t always need a complete replacement.
The ProfiKey workshop encourages you to replace the key housing. We can help save you money.
The ProfiKey master will determine the shape of the
blade housing option, the type of transponder, radio frequency, the presence of
infrared emitters, and will program a complete duplicate for you.
At the customer’s request, the masters at ProfiKey can
program car keys. The work depends on
the vehicle model and our technical capabilities. Usually, this is done using one of three
basic technologies: cloning, adaption,
and adjustment of the memory.
·
Cloning: is the fastest and most convenient
way. You must provide an effective key
to the ProfiKey workshop and it will be copied on a special programmer. In this case, the master does not need the
owner’s car itself. The engine
immobilizer will not notice the difference between the original and duplicate
keys.
·
Adaptation: is the process of matching
the radio waves of the remote control with the car electronics and engine
immobilizer. This process requires a
valid key and direct access to the car itself.
Also, if there is a PIN code (special password that comes with the care
and key), that must be provided as well.
You can snap both original keys from the car manufacturers and
inexpensive blanks without buttons. Each
key will be stored in a separate immobilizer memory cell. Missing keys will stop working after being
rewritten; this is used to deactivate lost keys.
·
Correcting memory: if cloning and
adaptation fail, correction is applied directly to the key dump and
immobilizer. This is the lengthiest
process, but it allows you to selectively add and remove keys. This technology
deals with the reading, analysis and reprogramming the memory dump, as well as
the search and study of specifications and technical documentation.
